KATIE BATLIN
SPORTS MINDSET COACH,
DIRECTOR, SUPERSKILLS

Katie Batlin brings a wealth of experience as an elite
player, professional athlete, and coach to her work in
athlete development. As both a high-level competitor and a
leader in youth basketball, Katie understands that success
in sports requires more than physical talent. Confidence,
resilience, discipline, and the ability to respond to challenges are essential components of reaching one's full potential. Her approach emphasizes helping athletes build confidence in themselves, develop a strong mindset, and learn to navigate the mental demands of competition.

Katie's basketball accomplishments reflect her dedication, competitive drive, and commitment to excellence. A standout player at Miramonte High School, she was nominated for the prestigious McDonald's All-American Team and named California Player of the Year. She went on to earn a full athletic scholarship to Saint Mary's College before completing her collegiate career at San Francisco State. During her final season, Katie led her team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals, averaging 15.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. Following college, she signed a Level 1 professional contract to play basketball in Australia.

Beyond her playing career, Katie has established herself as a passionate coach, mentor, and leader. She previously served as a head coach at the NBA Basketball School in Dubai, where she helped grow the girls' program from just eight players to more than 150, establishing it as the largest program of its kind in the Middle East under her supervision and guidance.

Today, as Director of the Super Skills program, Katie brings that same passion, leadership, and commitment to developing young athletes. She strives to create an environment where players can grow not only as basketball players, but also as confident, resilient, and self-aware individuals. Through her experience and mentorship, Katie helps athletes recognize their potential, embrace challenges, and develop the mindset and habits necessary to succeed both on and off the court.

“The mental side of the game is 3:1 to the physical. The real game is actually being played BETWEEN YOUR EARS.”
