Super Skills will host 2 great, 4-day basketball camps this spring for boys and girls ages 5 -14. Directed by Coach Phil Galvin, these sessions are a can’t miss for young players that want to improve their skills during spring break. Each session provides participants with a fun environment to learn detailed fundamentals of the game. The morning session will feature a full-filled, detailed focus on improving each players overall skill level.  Players ages 5-7 take part in our Future Skills Program, practicing separately from the rest of the group with smaller balls, lowered baskets, and more breaks.  Each program places a tremendous emphasis on ‘life skills’ and character building, covering such topics as listening skills, following directions, being responsible, having a strong work ethic, drug/alcohol awareness, the importance of exercise, and much more.

After a busy morning of specific skill clinics, our afternoon Competition and Games program is the perfect compliment to balance out our Super Skills program. We’ll turn the music up loud for a great menu of basketball games and fun each afternoon! Participants will be grouped according to age and ability, and participate in a sort of smorgasborg of games and competitions, including: 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, 5 on 5, the numbers game, knockout, simon says, skill relays, hot shot, NBA 2-Ball, and much more. Our Future Skills Camper are again broken out from the older group to participate in age appropriate games and fun.

Note:  Participants that attend all day must bring their own lunch.  The lunch hour is a restful time, where campers spend the hour visiting with each other and watching a movie.
